Greengate!!

Jippi!!! Fann ein butikk i Dundalk som selger Greengate:)) Hadde ikkje so mye pengar paa meg, men maatte kjopa ei lita skaal. Skal definitivt tilbake der og kjopa meir. ELSKER Greengate:) Det gjorde virkelig helga mi!:)

Ha ein trivelig lordagskveld alle samman. Eg skal tilbringe den paa sofaen med ein god film paa TV og fyr paa peisen;)

Yesss!! Found a shop in Dundalk that sells Greengate:)) Did`nt have so much money on me, but I had to buy a little bowl. I am definitly going back there to buy some more. LOVE Greengate;) That really made my weekend!:)

Lovely walk at the beach..

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Here in Dundalk it has been a lovely weekend with nice temperatures, that makes you think of spring, and lovely sunshine... Have been to the beach for walks both on saturday and sunday, but of course forgot my camera on saturday...

Brought my camera today, so I am gonna share with you some pictures from our scenic beach Shelling Hill.

It was just perfect...

Galmle servietter/Old napkins...

Naar eg var kanskje rundt 10..? var ein av mine store interesser aa samla paa ting. Enten det var glansbilde, postkort, viskeler, klistermerke eller servietter. Alt som kunne samlast vart samla paa og det er eg no veldig glad for idag.. Har alle albumane med glansbilder, gamle plastposar med servietter, klistermerker og halvbrukte viskeler, som eg ein dag haaper dattera mi vil sette like stor pris paa som eg:) Kvar serviett, og kvart glansbilde bringer tilbake minner fraa naar eg var liten. So egentlig var det litt saart naar eg kom paa ideen med aa bruke noen av mine gamle servietter som motiv i bildene mine.. So her ser du eine resultatet! Serviett, blonder, maling og visdomsord i ein hyggelig forening:)

When I was around ten years old, one of my big interests was to collect things. It could be pictures, post cards, rubbers, stickers or napkins. Anything I could collect I collected, and I am very glad I did today... I have got all the albums with scrap pictures, old palstic bags with napkins, sticker and half used rubbers, that I one day hope that my daugther will appreciate as much as I do:) Every napkin and every scrap picture bring back memories from my childhood. So it was really a bit sad when I came up with the idea to use som of my old napkins as illustrations in my paintings... So here you can see the result! Napkin, laces, paint and words of wisdom all put together..;)

Very windy...

Today is a freezing, stormy day here in Ravensdale. Thought I treat myself to something that gets me thinking about warmer days.. I LOVE tulips! Found these in the Flower market, thought they would get me in a "spring" mood. The table I found a while ago in a second hand shop. Bought it for 10 euros (80 kr), painted it white, and I think it looks quite nice in my bathroom;)

Saturdays...

A day for taking it easy..:) Have been to town getting a few little bits in the fabric shop, so I can make a bit more things for my little blog shop.. Have loads of ideas, only need a few more hours in the day so I can do them all. But tonight I am gonna relax with mexiacan food and a nice bottle of wine (120 - I think that is a nice wine for a good price) and maybe a good film.. Well, hope all of yous will have a lovely saturday night! Enjoy:)

Finally the snow came to Dundalk!

Finally the snow and the cold (brrrrrrrrrr) came. We have been out sledging, having snowball fights and making snow angels, loving the little bit of snow..;)

Det har vert sno her no i 3 DAGER, dette er rekord for oss.. I fjor og aaret for hadde me vel sno i 3 timer kanskje, for det begynte aa regne. So no koser me oss!!;)
